Greenwood & Boundary morning check: haze continues, several wildfire-map entries improve
Tuesday’s official-source pull keeps the smoke-and-haze watch on the front page, but the nearest wildfire-map changes are mostly improvement signals. Grand Forks and Rock Creek show no active weather-warning object in the DriveBC regional feed. The forecast still calls for haze today and tonight, local smoke on Wednesday, and hotter weather by Thursday.
No official Boundary-region evacuation order or alert was found in the DriveBC emergency-alert API or the EmergencyInfoBC text pull this morning. Nearby wildfire records below are map-layer monitoring points; they are not evacuation notices and should not be treated as instructions by themselves.

- Weather: the warning field remains clear for Grand Forks and Rock Creek. Today is forecast sunny and hazy, with southwest wind near noon, high 30 C and UV index 6/high. Tonight remains clear and hazy. Wednesday brings local smoke, southwest wind gusting to 40 km/h, high 33 C and UV index 7/high; Thursday is forecast sunny and hot near 36 C, but no heat-warning object was returned in this pull.
- Wildfire map: N61411 changed from Being Held to Under Control about 41.5 km from Greenwood, and N61413 changed from Out of Control to Under Control about 45.3 km away. N61387 changed from Out of Control to Being Held about 52.8 km away, and N51353 changed from Being Held to Under Control about 58.8 km away.
- Continuing watch points: N61319 remains the closest out-of-control map-layer point found, about 41.7 km from Greenwood, and now shows 10.4 ha in the API response. N61201 remains out of control about 67.8 km away. Neither was marked as a wildfire of note in the API response.
- Map-feed caution: several older under-control entries that were returned Monday were not in Tuesday’s under-90 km set. Treat that as a map-feed/status change unless a specific BC Wildfire incident note confirms more.
