Ledge launches Greenwood Votes 2026 candidate tracker ahead of October election

By Ledge Media Group · Official sources checked: City of Greenwood and Elections BC

Ledge Media Group has launched Greenwood Votes 2026, a public-interest election hub for Greenwood’s October mayor and council election. The goal is simple: put candidate information, public questions, open letters, source links and voter dates in one place before residents cast a ballot.

The City of Greenwood’s election page says voters will elect one mayor and four councillors on Saturday, October 17, 2026, with advance voting on October 7 at McArthur Centre. The City candidate information session is listed for August 19, and the nomination period is September 1–11.

As of this launch check, Ledge has not found an official accepted candidate list. That means the first version starts with current officeholders as people to track, not as declared candidates.

What the project will track

Candidate submissions and reader tips can be sent to editor@ledgemediagroup.com. Ledge will treat submissions as leads until verified.
